The idea for the African stool covered in wax fabric came to me at a market in Dakar. They were selling stools with metal feet and I immediately thought of making them with light wood and crooked legs. I knew that in Ouakam there was a carpenter who worked very well and with him and his upholsterer friend we made the first model! Stools with excellent quality upholstery, comfortable and chair height! This means that they can be added to the table in case of an extra guest! Ideal in front of a sofa, at the entrance as a seat and support point or as a chair in front of a desk, the 'Alassane' stools are versatile and fun, useful and never go unnoticed!
